About the Conference Venue
Please Note: The conference center is at the main Tufts campus in Medford/Somerville and not the Tufts campuses in downtown Boston.
Thanks to a generous gift from the Cummings Foundation, Tufts University is excited to announce the completion of a state-of-the-art academic building located on College Avenue next to the Tufts/Medford MBTA Green Line station. The Joyce Cummings Center offers a new gateway to campus and modern event spaces on a scale that is competitive with peer universities.
Parking
If you are driving in to attend NAMBE 2024 parking is available at Dowling Hall, 419 Boston Avenue, Medford, MA or alternatively the parking opposite the Steve Tisch Fitness Centre. Parking is $20/day and can be paid online.
Conference Housing
Due to limited space we recommend booking as early as possible to receive this special rate—please note that once the reserved/contracted room block is full, the room availability and rate are not guaranteed and may vary.
Hyatt Place Boston/Medford
Hotel shuttle will operate between the hotel and the conference center throughout the week.

Boston Logan International Airport
This Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is located 15 miles from the conference venue: The Joyce Cummings Center at Tufts University, 177 College Ave, Medford MA 02155.

Transportation
There are many ways to reach to conference location from Boston Logan Airport:
- Rental Car: There are standard rental car agencies at the airport and ample parking on Tufts campus for a modest fee each day.
- Ride Share/Taxi: Standard ride share apps, as well as taxi services, are all available at the airport
- The MBTA: Taking “the T” is an option to reach to conference site. The northern end of the Green-line is a stop at Tufts right next to the location of the conference. The other listed Tufts stops (red line and orange line) are farther away.
